You can only share your car in person with a few people at a time, and it’s hard to share all the details every time. LINEAGE.ooo exists to help grow the presence of cars by helping you tell their stories, archive their history, highlight their unique traits, and connect them on a global platform.

What is LINEAGE.ooo ?

LINEAGE.ooo is a digital community of cars and their stories. This FREE service is the easiest way to share your car’s story, history, and lineage. Once you have created your car page, it will be published to a global community of car enthusiasts who can discover your car and its story. Your car’s page will be connected to a unique QR code, which can be displayed on your car and enable fans to read your car’s story in a browser or smartphone.

How does it work?

• Go to LINEAGE.ooo, and click on Create a Car Page to register for an account and create your custom car page to share your car’s specs and story.

• You will need your car’s VIN to create the car page. (Scroll down to see why.)

• Custom car pages are always FREE.

• You can update the car’s story, photos, and video at anytime.

• If you have a LINEAGE.ooo QR code badge, you can enter your badge number into a Car Page to link it. (We personally verify each badge after it is linked online, so it may take up to 1-3 days. Thank you for your patience.)

• If you don’t have a badge yet, you can purchase one HERE on LINEAGE.ooo for as low as $8+shipping.

• IMPORTANT: Please note the LINEAGE.ooo car page and badge is tied to the car and represents the digital identity of the car, not the identity of the car owner. The LINEAGE.ooo Car Page, just like cars, take a journey from owner to owner. Each owner is a temporary custodian of car, but a key piece of its lineage.

How do I get a LINEAGE.ooo decal badge QR code?

• We have a limited number of free LINEAGE.ooo badges, which we hand out at certain car events. Just look for someone wearing a LINEAGE.ooo FOUNDER hat. Say hi, and show them your LINEAGE.ooo Car Page. We love meeting you in the wild!

• Alternatively, after you create your car’s page, you can go into our online store HERE and purchase a decal with a QR code on it. Decals are as low as $8+ shipping.

I have a QR badge. Now what?

Go to LINEAGE.ooo, and click on Create a Car Page to register for an account and create your custom car page. Please make sure you enter the number on the QR badge on your car page. Then stick your badge on your car so anyone can see your car’s story and lineage.

Why do you need the VIN for the car?

Part of the value of this community is that we prioritize authenticity, and do our best to make sure the cars on the site are all real and unique. We do verify and check that VIN numbers are accurate. We will remove and suspend accounts that we find are inaccurate. If you see any cars that look like a duplicate please contact us HERE.

Is the LINEAGE.ooo badge and QR code transferable to another car?

Each badge and code is unique to a specific car and cannot be transferred. Please create a new page for each car and get its unique QR code and Badge.

What happens when I sell my car?

Please contact LINEAGE.ooo HERE and we will help transfer the car’s page to the new owner. If you are the car’s new owner, please also contact us and we will facilitate the transfer of the page.

How do you calculate shipping cost?

It is a combination of what shipping service you select, the speed of delivery, the size and weight of your item(s) and the location where it will be sent. Every order is hand-packed and fulfilled, so we are sorry that the minimum shipping cost is more than compared to larger commercial shops. But if you order more items in a single purchase the shipping cost only increases minimally. For instance in most cases you can order up to 10 badges and decals in a single order and the shipping will cost the same as a single badge. Thank you so much for understanding.

What is your Return Policy?

All physical retail items are refundable up to 90 days from the date of purchase, assuming the items have not been used. The buyer pays for the shipping and the items are received by the seller. The refund on the item’s price and tax will be made once the items are received and reviewed for usage. Shipping charges are not refundable.
